It's that time of the year again to enjoy nature, but nature sometimes has other plans.

Deep in the recesses of your pack it pays to have a tiny section dedicated to emergencies.

Rivers rising, getting lost, getting injured, landslips,  weather changing for the worse are all common in the great NZ outdoors.
