Inverters for emergency use

Inverters for emergency use

Based in Hastings, Hawkes Bay, during the recent flooding, we recently saw thousands of people needing emergency power for their houses.

Once the routers were powered, they also had internet restored.

Of course, almost noone actually has emergency power for their houses. Instead we saw people buying inverters then taking batteries out of vehicles then plugging small appliances like devices and inverters into car batteries via these inverters. Then, when the batteries neesed charging, theyd connect the batteries back to the vehicle and charge them up again, then bring them back to power devices and inverters again.

This is fine for an absolute emergency but a more convenient we expect to add to our catalogue at some point in the future.
